Summer time and holiday weekend: Forget everything, forget works, forget stress...It's time to go out and refresh yourselves.
Life still goes on, day by day. You will get back to your work after this holiday, and will continue to work until...may be next Christmas days!....:)........ No one will steal work from you, so don't worry, go somewhere and relax!
When you go, please don't plan too hard, don't try to keep the vacation in shape...I mean, don't expect everything have to be perfect! You may ruin your holiday if you keep thinking, and worrying like you are at work.
Let everything goes the way it wants to go. Just like you are at the ocean shore, lying down on the sand, releasing all the muscles and breathing the clean air that Mother-of-nature is giving you...
You will feel stronger, your mind will clearer...when you come back! Believe me. I am not a good advisor, but I hope I give a hint for you to advice yourselves.

June 16: Be Aware!
Whenever you go to an automatic teller machine to make deposits,make sure you don't lick the deposit envelopes (spit on it). A customer died after licking an envelope at a teller machine at Yonge & Eglinton.

According to the police, Dr. Elliot at the Women's college hospital found traces of cyanide in the lady's mouth and digestive system and police traced the fatal poison to the glue on the envelope she deposited that day.

They then did an inspection of other envelopes from other teller machines in the area and found six more. The glue is described as colourless and odourless. They suspect some sickco is targeting this particular bank and has been putting the envelopes beside machines at different locations. A spokesperson from the bank said their hands are tied unless they take away the deposit function from all machines. So watch out, and please forward this message to the people you care about.

Yosemite99 update:
We reserved a big Van for the July2,99 reunion, which will start from Los Angeles to San Jose at 4PM
The schedule of Yosemite trip is posted on Databook: (Calendar)
We have a plan to visit Monterey town (an old Capital of CA before 1770, a wonderful place to visit) and Hearst Castle(Santa Lucia Mountain, biggest castle in west coast) and some other famous places of California, along Pacific coast after the reunion day.
If you plan to join us please plan to take an extra day off (Tuesday, July 6)beside Monday July 5(holiday). We will drive you there.

I guess it's time to ask where we will reunite next time ( year 2001)?
Which state has the most beautiful places for us to visit next time?
Who want to be the host for all of us next time?
(By the time we all retire, we will have big mobile-home's which are fully loaded our souvenirs...! :)

April 16:Caution:
An associate of mine received a telephone call last evening from an individual identifying himself as an AT&T Service technician who was conducting a test on telephone lines. The so called technician stated that to complete the test they needed to touch nine(9), zero(0), the pound sign (#), and then hang up. Luckily, this person became suspicious and refused.
Upon contacting the telephone company, he was informed that by pushing 90#, you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone number (or number they are calling).
He was further informed that this scam has been originating from many local jails/prisons. Along with all of this, he had also verified the information with UCB telecom, Pacific Bell, MCI, Bell Atlantic, GTE, and NYNEX. Please beware.
DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE. The GTE Security Department requested that this info be passed on and shared with EVERYONE, PLEASE pass this on.
